Our cabinet installation trade course program was created to provide underrepresented and disadvantaged young people & communities with the skills and knowledge necessary to enter and succeed in the cabinet installation industry, while fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and community partnership. The course covers everything from basic carpentry techniques to advanced installation methods, and is taught by experienced industry professionals.
Our target market is individuals looking to start or advance their careers in the cabinet installation industry, including recent high school graduates, current tradespeople looking to expand their skill set, and those interested in starting their own cabinet installation business.
The course will be offered on a part-time basis, and will be held in our state of the art mobile training facility, the S.L.A.P. M.A.C.I.V.,with access to the latest tools and equipment. In addition to classroom instruction, students will also learn by taking virtual classes in the S.L.A.P. Meta Verse. This fully emersive experience will introduce a completely new and innovative way of learning. Students will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training and internships.
Our marketing and sales strategy will focus on targeted advertising and partnerships with local cabinet retailers, home builders, and remodeling companies. We anticipate strong demand for the course, with projected enrollment of 50 students per class.
Our goal is to not only provide students with the skills they need to succeed in the cabinet installation industry, but also to support them in finding employment upon graduation. We expect a high percentage of graduates to be placed in jobs within the industry.
